Mermaid Tear / Seaglass from Hawaii
Hawaii is undoubtedly known for its incredible beaches and gorgeous coastlines. But not all beaches are created equal: from Oahu's Hanauma Bay to Maui's Kaihalulu Beach, there are some special beach gems to discover. One of these is Kauai's Glass Beach, covered with millions of sea glass pebbles in vibrant aqua, turquoise, blue and brown colors. Over the course of several years, the ocean has worked its magic and covered the beach with tiny pebbles of sea glass.

If you had known, it takes the ocean about 10 to 30 years to create each piece of frosted sea glass. Kauai's Glass Beach proves a recycling process "Made by Nature" - so impressively, nature here manages to create little precious treasures from trash - with more than 10 years and the powerful help of the Pacific Ocean.

Each Mermaid Tear is unique. Since they are created naturally by the ocean, there may be slight variations in shape, size and color.

Silver jewellery
We only use 925 sterling silver for our necklaces, skulls, Buddhas and logo beads. We source our materials in Pforzheim, one of the oldest jewellery manufactures in the world - in other words, Made in Germany. All our jewellery is nickel-free, allergy-friendly and rhodium-plated. This gives a special, long-lasting lustre and prevents rapid oxidation. Rhodium is food-safe and the rarest and most valuable precious metal in the world - far superior to silver and gold.

Gold jewellery
We use 18 carat gold plating to achieve this special, rich gold tone. For rose gold, we also use 18 carat gold with a higher proportion of copper. The higher the number of carats, the purer the gold - but purer does not always mean better. 24-carat gold, for example, is of higher quality but particularly soft, whereas our 18-carat gold is very valuable and lasts much longer.

Gemstones
Due to the uniqueness of the semi-precious gemstones used, all products may vary slightly in colour and may vary slightly from the products shown in the photo.

Seashells and Seaglass
We only use real shells that we have lovingly collected and selected by hand on the beach during our worldwide travels. Each shell is unique and one of a kind. As shells grow naturally in the sea, there may be slight variations in shape, size and colour. We source most of our seaglass from the beaches of Hawaii.

Stringing materials
For our bracelets, we only use special elastic cords that can be stretched up to twice their original length and jewellery wire made from 19 twisted strands of high-quality silver-plated stainless steel wire, which meet the highest demands in terms of flexibility and strength. These stringing materials are all ‘Made in Germany’ and guarantee lasting flexibility and good protection against abrasion.

Durability
In order to maintain the special appearance of our products in the long term, we recommend that you avoid contact with water, cleaning agents, creams and perfume.
